Automations

Automations run agent workflows in the background—on a schedule or when something lands in your knowledge base. They replace the older scheduler aApp: open Automations from the left sidebar.

Create an automation

From the Automations pane you can:

  • Start from a template (for example a daily briefing).

  • Create a blank automation and set the trigger yourself.

  • Ask Chat to draft an automation for you.

Triggers
  • Schedule: run on a cron-style timetable.

  • Content events: run when mail, Slack, a meeting, or another connected source updates.

Run history and safety

Each automation keeps a grouped run history so you can see what ran and what it produced. remio also caps daily runs, avoids overlapping executions, and asks for confirmation before sending mail, writing calendar events, or posting to connected messengers.

FAQ

Q: I used the old scheduler aApp. Where did it go?

A: Built-in Automations replace it. Recreate the same job from the Automations pane; do not look for a scheduler aApp.

Q: Will an automation run if remio is closed?

A: The desktop app needs to be available for local processing. Keep remio running if you rely on scheduled jobs.
