Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman expects Apple to develop a bigger Duo in the coming years. He also believes the existing iPhone Duo can push foldable phones toward mainstream acceptance.

The claim arrived in Gurman’s Power On newsletter on September 13, 2026, four days after Apple unveiled its first folding iPhone. Apple has not announced a Duo Max, confirmed its screen size, or published a release schedule. That distinction matters because the original Duo has already changed the competitive landscape.
