How to organize research notes
1. Define the question and decision
Write the primary question and the decision or output the research should inform. A decision boundary prevents interesting material from replacing useful evidence.
2. Set scope and a provisional frame
Record the population, time period, context, and exclusions. Label early hypotheses as provisional so later evidence can change them.
3. Create source snapshots
