The latest 9to5Google Samsung report presents images of earbuds believed to be called Galaxy Buds On or Galaxy Buds Able. They use a clip-style design that leaves the ear canal open.

That appearance strengthens the case that Samsung has developed a real product, rather than experimenting with an abandoned software concept. It still does not answer the most important question: when can anyone buy it?
