Summarize 1 or more documents

Summarize linked documents and highlight key points related to particular topics.

Prompt detail

Summarize the content of each of the following documents:
{{@Document_1}}, {{@Document_2}}, {{@Document_3}}

##Focus on the following topic: {{Topic}} (if provided). If no documens provided, simply ignore it and execute the prompt.

What the prompt does

When you need to review several documents but only care about specific themes, reading everything end-to-end wastes time. This prompt lets you feed multiple documents into remio and receive concise summaries of each, with key points filtered by your chosen topic.

You provide links to two or three documents — proposals, reports, meeting notes, or any files remio can access — along with an optional topic focus. remio reads each document, distills the essential information, and highlights what matters most for your specified subject area.

When to use

• Preparing for a cross-functional meeting where you need to quickly digest three different team reports and understand how they each address a shared initiative.
• Reviewing multiple vendor proposals and extracting only the sections relevant to pricing, compliance, or integration capabilities.
• Onboarding onto a new project where you've been handed several background documents and need to get up to speed on a particular workstream.
• Auditing quarterly planning docs from different departments to identify overlapping goals or resource conflicts.

Prompt examples

Input:
Summarize the content of each of the following documents: @Q3 Marketing Strategy Deck, @Q3 Engineering Roadmap, @Q3 Budget Allocation Sheet

Focus on the following topic: AI-related initiatives

remio responds:
Q3 Marketing Strategy Deck: This document outlines a campaign push for the new AI-powered search feature launching in August. Key points include a $45K ad spend allocation for AI messaging, three planned webinars targeting enterprise buyers, and a partnership with an AI industry newsletter for sponsored content.

Q3 Engineering Roadmap: The roadmap dedicates two sprint cycles (Sprints 5-6) to AI model fine-tuning and a new recommendation engine. A team of four engineers is assigned full-time, with a dependency on the data pipeline migration completing by mid-July.

Q3 Budget Allocation Sheet: AI-related line items total $210K, split between engineering headcount ($140K), cloud compute costs ($48K), and marketing spend ($22K). The remaining $45K marketing AI budget appears under a separate campaign code.

Tip 1:
Be specific with your topic focus — instead of "AI," try "AI cost allocation" or "AI hiring plans." Narrower topics produce sharper, more actionable highlights from each document.

Tip 2:
Include documents from different departments or authors to surface contrasts and overlaps you wouldn't catch reading them separately.

Tip 3:
Leave the topic field empty when you want unbiased full summaries first, then re-run with a topic to drill into a specific angle.
