Sync from Emails
*This feature is only available on the macOS version.
To connect your email account to remio, please follow these steps:
Initiate Connection
First, click on Source to enter the configuration page.
Select the mail entry, then choose your service provider to add an account.
Authorize Account
You will be prompted to link your email account, granting remio access to your emails through the standard OAuth2 process.
remio supports connecting and managing multiple email accounts in parallel.
Configure Sync Settings
Once your account is successfully linked, you can flexibly define the scope of your import：
Mailbox Selection: Choose which mailboxes from your account you wish to sync.
Sync Duration: Select the timeframe for the sync. Options include Recent 1 month, Recent 3 months, and Recent 6 Months, with the default set to 3 months.
Start Syncing
During the import process, you can view the real-time sync progress via a progress bar that shows the completion percentage based on the number of emails.
You have the option to pause the operation at any time.
Manage Connection
After setup, you can manage your connected accounts. To disconnect an account, use the unbind option.
When you unbind, you will be prompted to choose whether to Keep It, which retains all synced mail data within remio, or Delete All, which completely removes all imported data.
