Recording Your Meetings: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. First-Time Setup
On your first use, remio will request one-time access to your microphone and system audio. You'll also be prompted to download a language model for offline transcription (defaults to English).
2. Starting a Recording
Create a new note and select New Recording. After confirming the language, a floating control panel appears, letting you Pause, Resume, or Stop the recording from anywhere within the app.
3. During the Meeting
While recording, you can focus on the discussion. The floating control panel lets you manage the recording process (Pause, Resume) without interrupting your workflow. remio captures the audio seamlessly in the background
4. After the Meeting
Press Stop to finalize the recording. remio will quickly process the audio to generate a complete Transcript and a smart Overview. Now you can:
Edit Speaker Names: Click any speaker label in the Transcript to rename all their contributions at once.
Generate Minutes: Ask remio to create polished Meeting Minutes using your notes and the full transcript.
Review the Overview: Get a quick summary and clickable chapters of the conversation for easy navigation.
Listen Back: Click any sentence in the Transcript or Overview to play the corresponding audio and clarify details instantly.
