Glossary

The most prominent feature of remio is that it can capture and manage almost everything for you. The following are the types of materials that remio can manage.


Knowledge Base

The sum of all your information within remio, including notes, web clippings, local files, and highlights.


Note

A standard note you create manually.


Memo

Snippets of notes created automatically when you highlight content on a webpage with the browser extension or add comments to a document within remio.


Collection

A smart container where you can group related items (notes, files, resources) by topic, project, or any logic. It's more flexible than a traditional folder.


People

Represents individuals you collaborate with or interact with. remio automatically associates notes, files, and conversations (like Slack records) with specific people, building a comprehensive profile for each interaction and knowledge sharing


Resource

A clean copy of a webpage or document you've captured, automatically saved in a readable format and accessible offline.


Folder

A local folder from your computer that you sync with remio. The files within it are automatically indexed and read.


File

A specific document (like a PDF, Word, or PPT) is automatically ingested from your synced folders. remio can understand its content.


Slack

Slack daily conversation clips that are automatically archived and grouped by people
